Another Fabulouse 24th of July!

Nate and I started a tradition when we were dating to go to the Salt Lake Bees baseball game every year on the 24th. We purposely buy bad seats because if you are in sec. 24 or 25 you get to go out onto the field at the end of the game for the firework show! We have done this every year and it gets better every time! This year Sky and Nate brought there baseball mitts and played catch out on the field while waiting for the fireworks they were so dang cute! Sky thought he was so special to be on that field! He was so excited to get a new baseball hat he said he is going to wear it every day and I don't doubt that! It is so fun to make these amazing memories with our kids and have fun traditions. Happy 24th everyone!

A few days ago I decided to put Abbies hair in Curlers she was so good and let me put them in with no problems! She slept fine that night with them in too. I was so excited to take them out and see her cute curly hair, but this is what it ended up looking like! Nate said she looked like she stuck her finger in a socket! Oh well she is still the cutest little girl in my eyes!!!!

Date Night!

So Nate and I went on a date last night it has been a long time since we have been able to do that! Since we live so far from family and Nate's night off is Mon. I don't like asking girls in the neighborhood to babysit on Mon. (family night) but we had the opportunity to go out last nigh because Sky slept over my sisters and we had to take him down there so we decided to drop Abbie off at Nate's parents house and go to dinner and a movie! We saw The Dark Night ( Batman) It was really good. I love being with Nate I always count down the time until he has a day off. I saw a glimpse of why I love him so much last night! He is so funny he is constantly making jokes and wise remarks! Those of you who know Nate it is prob. hard for you to believe because he is so shy, but the dude us hilarious! Anyways I hope you know how much I love you Nate and how special our few dates are to me! I looked forward to many more!!!!!

Dino Park!!!

This year we have season passes to go to the Dinosaur park .We have been 3 times this year. The kids think it is awesome, it really is quit interesting. This time we took our friend Jessica and her little boy Carter with us.
Skyler used to think that the dinosaur's would come alive and eat us it took some convincing to get him to believe us that they where just pretend. We always pack a picnic and hang out at the park all day. They have a little museum inside too which parents find that part more interesting than the kids so we don't spend to much time in there.

Moms little helper!

Abbie loves to help me with dinner! Every night when I am cooking dinner I find Abbie in there helping me. She is usaully in the fridge pulling all the condoments out or in the pantry getting all the canned food out. She then gets a cooking utinsel like a spatula or serving spoon and starts to cook! :0) It is so fun to see her use her imagination and pretend she is making something fabulose. She is going to make a great cook someday!

When ther are olives in our dinner Sky had to have a t least five out of the can so he can out them on his fingers and eat them one by one he has been doing this since he was about 2 He loves his olives!

I am going crazy?!?!

Do you ever feel like you are going crazy? I have been feeling this way for the last week or so. I stopped taking my meds thinking I could self medicate and just take some b complex well I was so wrong! I have been loosing it this week. Every little thing my kids do makes me want to pull my hair out and I want to cry over everything. I really want to feel normal I have not been able to feel like I have it all together since I have had Abbie I don't feel like any Medication helps and I feel so bad for my family because I am so wacko! One minute I'm as pleasant as can be the next I am either crying or screaming because I cant control my self! If any one has any ideas on how to get this under control please let me know. Thanks!

O.k So alot has happened in the last few days! First we went to the drive inn movies we try to do that a few times a year. The kids really enjoy it! Skyler calls it the out side movies.

When we were getting ready to go to the movies I found my sweet little Abbie down stairs with a pen. She had drew all over herself and was very proud of her self! I couldn't help but laugh and take a pic of it!

So then on Tues. we decided to go to lagoon we did the lagoona beach first we love the pools and slides Skyler is so brave to go on all the little slides Abbie likes them to, but we usually take her down with us. When we were getting ready to go into the park I got a phone call from Amy she said " I think my water broke" so me being the crazy lady I am I got all excited and decided to meet her at the hospital. I dragged mt family out of the park and headed to Salt Lake on the way there Nate kept saying "I bet it is false labor " and i kept reassuring him "no way I have never heard of false water breaking!" So we get to the hospital and they checked her and yep you guessed it False labor!!!! WHAT I drove down here for nothing! That is o.k she is worth it! But I sure did hear about it all the way home!!!!

Happy Fourth of July!!!

This is for sure my favorite Holliday I just love all the carnivals, BBQs and fire works you do on the fourth! I also love the meaning of celebrating the fourth all of our freedoms that we take for granted and the troops who have done so much to keep us all safe.
We have traditions on the fourth and one of them is to go to the Clearfield carnival and watch there AMAZING fireworks I am serious when I say everyone needs to see them at one point in their lives they are the BEST fireworks in the west of the u.s we love them! We brought my niece Aliegh this year she had never seen big fire works before and she loved it. the kids had so much fun doing all the bounce slides and the bounce house they also got two gold fish! They had a blast. There was a reptile stand there and they got to pet a 170 lb. snake it was huge!! They also got to see many other reptiles like a huge turtle. We had so much fun and ate lots of sugar. My sweet little Abbie fell asleep right in the middle of the fire works she must have been really tired!

I love the Fourth of July!!

Fourth of July parade

Every year we wake up early and go to the Clearfield parade This was the best year by far! Skyler was very excited and Abbie had no idea what was going on, but she caught on the whole candy thing real fast! Skyler was really funny when they would throw candy he would just stand there and expect them to give it directly to him so he would turn around and cry that he didn't get any! when we explained to him he had to run and get it him self he had lots of fun! I love to see my kids have a good time and I love making these memories for them!

First hair cut!!

Yes I finally did it! I got Abbie's hair cute. We just trimmed it up so it looks a little bit more even! I thought it was time since so many people kept commenting on how it needed to be cut! My good friend Jessica who is a hair dresser came over to do it for me. She was so good I thought I was going to have to hold her, but she held perfectly still and didn't fuss about it at all. I am so proud of her!
