Santa Clause came to town!!!!

What a wonderful Christmas! We started with all our traditions like visiting family Christmas eve and making Santa cookies then opening our p.j's that night. It is such a blessing to celebrate Christmas with being surrounded by all our family and friends. Our kids of cause where more excited to see what Santa had brought them more than spending time with us. LOL Sky asked for a Trampoline and a razor motor scooter this year and Abbie asked for a t.v and a toy box. With tons of thinking and going back in forth with the idea I decided to let Santa get them the trampoline BUT on one condition it could only be the 8 ft wide and 2 ft tall and have a net! So while we opened our presents every present Sky opened he would say "I bet this is a trampoline" after we opened all the presents I "found" a note from Santa telling the kids thank you for the cookies and telling them how good they are and to keep being good then at the end of the letter it said he left a present out side because it was to big to bring in before I was done reading it Sky jumped up and ran to the back door and there it was THE trampoline!!! They where SOOOOO excited and it is the perfect size for them. That was the BIG gift this year for the kids. AS most of you know Nate and I treated our selves to a couch/sectional and a 50' flat screen t.v. We got very spoiled by family too! I also got a body bug , shoes, clothes, blender, space heater, ect. Nate also got Clothes, watch, wii games, puzzles ect. Sky also got the razor motor scooter, tools, clothes games, and a ton more!!! Abbie also got a Strawberry shortcake t.v, dolls, clothes, a toy box and much much more! Every year we say we are going to tone it down and not go over board and every year we get WAY to much I always end up saving some for birthdays and even then they get a TON of stuff. All in all we had an AMAZING Christmas and I am so grateful for this time of year that we have to reflect on Christ and his life. We try to read a a story about him every year and I really try to get the kids to understand the meaning of Christmas and I think Sky really got it this year he kept talking about how important it is to remember him on Christmas. I hope I can set a good example for them and teach them the true meaning, so they can continue and teach their kids when that time come!

Did you wrap your daughters in red and your sons in green? That is such a good idea!
